Answers to what we hear most often
No. We've got beginner programs that start exactly where you are. Most of our swimmers hadn't been in a pool for years. Most of our strength trainees are coming back from time off. You're not behind — you're just starting now.
Our classes are scaled for movement quality over speed. We teach you proper form first, then build intensity slowly. No pressure to do things your body isn't ready for. The coaches actually know what happens when you push too hard too fast.
They're structured as personal progress milestones, not races. One person's challenge might be adding 5 pounds to their deadlift. Another's is swimming an extra lap. You're competing against yourself last month, not against anyone else.
Tell your trainer on day one. We modify everything. Swimming is actually great for joint issues. Strength training can be adapted to work around past injuries. We're not trying to turn you into someone else — we're helping you get stronger as you are.
